Ingredients and seasonings required for prepare
  1. Prepare 1 package (14 oz) smoked sausage
  2. Use 2 tbsp olive oil

Jasmine Rice Steamed white jasmine rice. Sautéed Seasonal Veggies Seasonal veggies (cabbage, broccoli, bok choy, carrots) sautéed crispy but tender Sweet Plantains Rice Pilaf. Crispy Shrimp coated in a honey walnut sauce, served atop jasmine rice and stir-fried fresh vegetables. Tofu sauteed with Caribbean herbs and spices, red peppers, mushrooms, scallions and kale.

How to make:process BK's Carribean Rice Pilaf & Sausage:
  1. Add olive oil to small stock pot.
  2. Slice smoked sausage (or sausage of choice) and brown lightly in oil.
  3. Remove sausage from pan and add onions and bell pepper. Saute 5 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, and crushed red pepper. Saute another 5 minutes.
  5. Add broth, deglazing pan with 1st cup. Add rest of broth. (If using pineapple, use juice from can with broth. 3 1/2 cups total)
  6. Add rice packages and cook per package directions (bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer 25 minutes).
  7. When 10 minutes are remaining on rice, spread peas (and optional pineapple chunks) over top of rice to steam. Recover and finish cooking rice.
  8. Remove from heat when rice is done and let rest 5-10 minutes.
  9. Add sausage back and stir all to combine.
  10. Done and ready to serve!

Served with a side of yucca fries. Served with spinach rice pilaf and a side of house salad. I order here a lot through door dash as well as dine in when I want a cocktail and. Went there for their "big fat Greek thanksgiving" dinner. I was amazed at how juicy and tender the turkey was.
