  1. Prepare 1 Box Red Velvet Cake Mix
  2. Use 1 Jar Nutella
  3. Prepare 2 C. Powdered Sugar
  4. Take 1 Block Softened Cream Cheese
  5. Prepare 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  6. Prepare Splash Heavy Cream

Beat in eggs, one at a time. In a medium mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. In a large bowl gently beat together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar and vanilla with a handheld electric mixer. Line standard muffin tins with paper liners.

Step by step to make Red Velvet Cupcakes:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners then set aside. In a large mixing bowl add the red velvet cake mix and all the ingredients requested on the box. Mix til thoroughly well combined. With a ice cream scoop or spoon divide batter among the cupcake liners. Then bake til a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Remove cupcakes from oven and let cool to room temperature completely. In another large mixing bowl add the cream cheese, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and cream. With a hand mixer beat together til everything is light and fluffy. Set aside.
  3. Fill two piping bags with large tips; 1) Frosting Mixture and 2) Nutella. The one with Nutella pipe into all the cupcakes. Then with the other bag with the frosting pipe in a circular motion to frost cupcakes. Serve immediately and enjoy 😋💕.
  4. Note* I sometimes reserve one cupcake without frosting to crumble and sprinkle over top of the frosted cupcakes to give the cakes more of decoration. Its optional.
  5. Done and ready to serve!
