  7. Take 1 cup hot water
  8. Use 1/8 cup cocoa powder
  9. Prepare 1 cup buttermilk
  10. Prepare Red food coloring
  11. Prepare 1 tablespoon vanilla
  12. Prepare Frosting
  13. Prepare 2 cups whipping cream powder
  14. Use 3 tablespoons milk powder
  15. Use 1 tablespoon vanilla
  16. Prepare Half cup chilled water

Beat in eggs, one at a time. Line standard muffin tins with paper liners. Whisk together cake flour, cocoa, and salt. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until each is incorporated, scraping down sides of bowl as needed.

Step by step to make Red velvet cupcakes:
  1. In a mixing bowl combine the buttermilk,oil,eggs, sugar and whisk for 7mins. Add in the hot water,mix till the sugar dissolves completely.stir in the flour and remaining dry ingredients.give it a nice mix until a smooth nice texture is achieved. Lastly add the food color to your desire and mix.
  2. Arrange your cake cups and scoop in the batter. Bake in a preheated oven. Allow to cool completely before frosting. You can also enjoy it without the frosting.
  3. For the frosting pour the whipping cream powder in a bolw and add the chilled water.using an electric hand or stand mixer, beat on high speed until thick and creamy. Add the milk and vanilla and beat for 3 more minutes.transfer to a piping bag and decorate as desired.garnish with some red velvet crumbs.
  4. Done and ready to serve!
