In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder, and whisk to combine. Mix in the remaining sugar in two additions, keeping the speed on low.

  1. In a medium bowl mix flour, salt and baking powder.

  6. Bake for 20 minutes. Use a toothpick to check whether the cupcake is ready.
  7. Done and ready to serve!
