Ingredients and seasonings used for prepare
  1. Prepare Crust
  2. Use 1 packages 5.5 ounce. sugar free shortbread cookies, I used Murrays Shortbread with pecans and chocolate chips
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup butter, melted
  4. Prepare Cheesecake
  5. Take 2 packages 8 ounce each. cream cheese
  6. Prepare 1/2 cup sour cream
  7. Use 1/4 cup milk
  8. Prepare 2 large eggs, lighly beaten
  9. Prepare 1 tsp vanilla extract
  10. Prepare 2 tbsp butter
  11. Use 2/3 cup sweetener, like Splenda or Stevia
  12. Use 9 oz package. sugar free chocolate chips
  13. Prepare 1/2 cup chopped nuts, pecans

On the upside though, it gave me the chance to make failed-fudge-brownies. So I guess it would've been wise if I'd read up on making fudge before delving in. I didn't, which is the reason my fudge failed. In a large Dutch oven or pan, mix together sugar, evaporated milk, water, and butter.

Instructions to make Failed Fudge Cheesecake:
  1. Preheat oven to 300°F
  2. FOR THE CRUST
  3. Pulverize cookies to crumbs
  4. Pour melted butter over crumbs and blend well
  5. Press in greased 8 inch spring form pan
  6. Bake at 300°F for 10 minutes
  7. FOR THE FILLING
  8. Melt chocolate chips and butter, set aside
  9. Blend sour cream ,milk, vanilla, eggs, creamcheese, and Splenda until smooth
  10. Stir in chocolate mixture and nuts until blended
  11. Pour over crust
  12. Bake at 300°F for 45 minutes or until center is almost set.
  13. Turn off oven
  14. Leave cheesecake in oven for 1 hour, remove
  15. Let cool for 4 hours
  16. Serve and enjoy
  17. Done and ready to serve!

Mix well and pour into prepared cake pan. Prepare and measure all the ingredients and set out on your working area. Grease the entire pan and line the bottom part with parchment paper. Please refer to notes if you use other pan. For trifle, line a bowl with pieces of cake and make a batch of vegetarian jelly, following the instructions on the packet.
